This just made be smile! I had the feeling the moment we stepped into the House in the Hills that you would fall in love and make it your home!

Mary, one of the things that makes you such a great realtor is your ability to sort out quickly what your clients care about, and to help them find what uniquely matches them. It was remarkable to watch you hone in on what sort of property we were looking for as you got to know us (in fact, you knew better than we could articulate!). We'll always be grateful for what you helped make happen, and equally so, how you went about your work with us.

Brian and Sophie, the story is touching. Preserving a story and caring it forward so cool. Leave it to the two of you to make the best of whatever you touch. I'd love to have met George. Your story really brought him to life.

Thanks for sharing.

Dan, thanks for reading and sharing these thoughts. So glad you have gotten the chance to be here and share in some of this, including with paint brush (and roller) in hand!

What a beautiful story and what joy to know the history of your new home and, best of all, that it's a happy history with a couple that loved each other and loved this house and the surrounding land. Thank you for sharing this history, Brian.

This has been wonderful reading, but the writing is possible because you are such wonderful listeners and you made yourselves approachable to gather all this wealth of information. What a journey it's been from your original plan to tear the house down and build new. So much pondering at each step, and so much appreciation for the site, the materials, the contents, the previous inhabitants and the decisions that went into their use of the house

Thanks so much for taking an interest Janet, and for providing reflections that help me see our process from a different perspective!

Brian what a great writing about the life and history of the house in the hills has had over the years.

Gail and I are looking forward to helping you ,Sophie and the kids add to the history of the house.

George sounded like a awesome person and a very loving uncle, I did like the $10 for touching a chipmunk, you will need to remember that challenge.

Can’t wait for the next blog.

Thanks so much Rich. We look forward to your being part of that story as well!

Also, as the Uncle in this context, you can be the one to offer the chipmunk challenge! :)
