Why the Reading VT Green Dream Blog? (Start here)

This blog is intended to share my family’s experiences as the most recent stewards of a property in Reading Vermont. Topics will include an honest accounting of the journey to create an energy efficient home, reflections about—and evoked by—the natural beauty of this place, and considerations of land use and resilience going forward into a world being shaped by climate change.

My hope is that these blogs will expand the community of people in dialog about the topics above. I expect to learn from others who have experiences and wisdom to share. And if these reflections inspire even one reader to dream about, and ultimately act upon, their own Green Dream — I will consider the blog a smashing success. And if that is you, I do hope you will be kind enough to share your own story.
